BIRD TRANE
The original imagery was created in pen and ink to help promote a curated evening of Coltrane influenced jazz called “Dear John C.”
The evening was conceived as a tribute to John Coltrane produced by @Bird.Atl and hosted by @commune_atl on 9/19/24 to honor his 98th birthday.
In the words of Bird.ATL:
“It’s an entire evening of tributes to Trane by those that knew him best! From Alice to Pharaoh, to a never-before-heard version of “Giant Steps” by Eugene McDaniels, with special guest DJ’s and jazz collectors.”
